Another elegant type of beer glasses is Pilsner Glass or Pokal that is typically tall, slender, tapered, and shaped like a trumpet.
There is a type which is commonly and easy to store, Pint Glass or Becker, Nonic, Tumbler. This glass is near cylindrical, and wide-mouth.
For brandy and cognac, it is common to use Snifter.
